"Did she just say Chardonnay ?"The curtain raiser on May 14th will be Jim Jarmusch's "The Dead Don't Die" - a comedy horror with an all-star cast...UPSOT PAIN AND GLORYPedro Almodovar will be back with his latest work - the semi autobiographical 'Pain and Glory' That will be vying alongside 17 other films for the coveted Palme d'Or.Also in the running will be Ken Loach's 'Sorry We Missed You', Terrence Mallick's 'A Hidden Life' and 'The Wild Goose Lake' by Diao Yinan. Lighting up the silver screen in the 'out of competition' category will be Dexter Fletcher's Elton John biopic 'Rocket Man, and Claude Lelouche's 'Les Plus Belles Années d'une vie' Céline Sciamma and Jessica Hausner are among the 13 female directors that feature on the line up...And just before we wrap....Alain Delon will join the ranks of Woody Alain and Jeanne Moreau in being awarded an honorary 'Palme d'Or' at this year's celebration of the 7th art.
