Baby Goldfish start off a grey / brown to hide them from predators. They can stay this way or change as they grow. These are my first babies in a four year old small pond. One goldfish has already exhibited Shubukin markings and it appears another has some yellow coming in. I will post another update in two weeks to see further progression!
