Joining with filmmaker Matt Piedmont for his 1950’s jazz-infused miniseries, The Spoils Before Dying, Picturemill created a short introduction to the world of jazz music.

Animated in a classic UPA style, this witty and kinetic sequence explains the difference between jazz musicians and squares while answering the impossible question, “What is Jazz?”
