AI and other global forces are transforming the world of work. In an age when workers will have longer lives and careers in the context of ever-changing work ecologies, billions of workers, from executives to novices, will need power tools to help them craft their careers and explore their growing professional possibility space. In this talk, Isabella shares two of her growing family of tools to help humanity build a human-centered future of work.
AI, Big Data, Future, Opportunities, Technology, Visualization Isabella is a Research Assistant at the MIT Media Lab. She uses value-sensitive design to build tools to help individuals and communities make pivotal life decisions using data-driven insights about people like them. She is currently developing Career Compass, a tool to help US workers craft their careers in the context of the future of work. In the past, Isabella researched international migrations and built a tool called Voyage Viewer to help workers make decisions about international relocation destinations based on metrics about people like them and destination labor markets. Her work stands at the intersection of Computational Social Science, Design, and the Future of Work.
