Former President Donald Trump has filled Madison Square Garden, Manhattan's marquee venue, to capacity.
Cops started to turn away people outside the 19,500-person venue about 4 p.m. -- about an hour former Trump was set to take the stage.
The crowd was exhibiting "loads of raw energy" according to an observer, with the MAGA faithful being described as "patient, friendly and warm."
