Today I introduce a new razor to my Den – the Executive Shaving Outlaw razor. The blade used is the one supplied with the razor – the Tiger Platinum and the soap use was Goodfellas Smile Inferno.
I was a bit late to the party with this razor as I felt it would be too similar to my Edwin Jagger 3one6 or my Game Changer 0.84. After using it in today’s shave, I realised I had been wrong to delay purchasing this razor. It truly is a great razor. With a 0.72 blade gap, no blade overhang and a slimline head, it is an excellent piece of engineering and design. It claims to be a 2 pass razor however I found that not to be the case. It did give me a DFS shave after 2 passes but to get to a BBS result, I needed the third pass (this may improve with practice though).
The soap performed admirably and had fantastic slickness/glide properties. The scent strength was about 3-4/10 but was really pleasant.
All in all, it was an excellent shave
