It was our first time here at Jim Creek. Its really breathtaking and gives you the opportunity to unplug and enjoy nature. Prices are reasonable and the cabins are quaint.
*They are only for federal employees and Military* We paid $75 a night for our 1 bedroom cabin with fridge and wood stove. I think Winter here would be incredible (us Hawaiians love snow).
Since we are new here we had no clue that the flies bite!! So for an hour we thought we were getting bit by mosquitos, but nope the flies were attacking us and the dogs. I used essential oils to keep them at bay and it seemed to work.
All in all we had fun, would reccomend.
Things we need to bring next time:
BUG SPRAY
Cooking device -plug in skillet, gas grill etc in case the burn ban is active.
A cooler- fridge is small
Rice cooker or instant pot
Shoes
