A private land surveyor in Wakiso district had a torrid time before the Commission of Inquiry into Land matters when he was questioned over his work methods. Stanley Bemba was accused of fueling land disputes in the populous district. It also emerged that Bemba has never been registered as a professional surveyor yet he has closely worked with the Wakiso District Local Government for 17 years. Bemba's troubles before the commission arose from a report he wrote in favor of a tycoon who bought a huge chunk of land in the district.
