The Martin County School District and Education Foundation of Martin County are proud to announce that Citrus Grove Elementary School's Vanessa Molina-Council has been named the District’s 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year!
The winner was announced during the Education Foundation of Martin County’s Teacher of the Year Awards Celebration on Friday, October 24, 2024, at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Event Center in Port St. Lucie. The event was presented by Audi Stuart, Infiniti Stuart and Alfa Romeo Stuart.
In addition to honoring the District’s 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year, winners were recognized in the Elementary, Middle and High School categories:
-Elementary School Teacher of the Year – sponsored by Cook Shell Contractors: Vanessa Molina-Council, Citrus Grove Elementary - Fourth-Grade Teacher
-Middle School Teacher of the Year – sponsored by Publix Super Markets Charities: Alicia Carter, Hidden Oaks Middle School - Creative Writing, Digital Media, and Physical Education
-High School Teacher of the Year – sponsored by Keiser University: Samantha Pankhurst, Jensen Beach High School - AP Human Geography and AP U.S. History
