• Useful: All lighting should have a clear purpose
• Targeted: Lighting should be directed only where it is needed
• Low Levels: Light Should be no Brighter Than Necessary
• Controlled: Light Should Only be Used When Useful
• Color: Use Warmer Colour Lights
