Beer Review 425: Old German, Pittsburgh Brewing Co., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Pete sent me a 12 ounce can of this classic American Lager. This one comes in at a sessionable 4.2% ABV with 10 IBUs. This poured a clear pale straw color with a thin, soapy white head. The nose was grainy with a slight adjunct sweetness, although it was not an overpowering smell. This was light bodied and I picked up light sweet malt, some grain, and not a heck of a lot more. All in all, this was a serviceable session beer and I prefer it to many of the other macro adjunct lagers.
