Describing an event is a common topic in this speaking test. You may be asked to describe a cultural event or place you have been to, e.g. a museum, a festival o a concert. Event may include a recent event that made you happy. In this topic, you may be required to talk about when and where it was, who was involved, what happened, and to explain why it made you happy. Another similar topic may be a festival that is important for your country. Concerning this topic, you may be expected to indicate when the festival occurred, what you did during it, what you like or dislike about it, and to explain why this festival is important. You should mostly use the past tense, but you can also use the present tense when appropriate.
