On my way to building a 7-figure coaching and consulting business, I’ve come across some incredibly helpful books for entrepreneurs. In this video, I share four of my favorites, and describe a little about each one.
The first book is called, “Psycho-Cybernetics,” by Maxfield Maltz. This was one of the first books that made a massive difference in my confidence as an entrepreneur. The book explains the principle of self-image. Essentially, whatever you believe yourself to be, that’s what you’ll be. I realized that I had to start thinking of myself as a successful business owner rather than a successful employee.
The second book is “SPIN Selling,” by Neil Rackham. Like many of us, I grew up thinking that selling was sleazy. When I had to start selling my services and products, I ran into a block because I found that I was reluctant to do so. This is one of the most important books for entrepreneurs because it talks you through how to sell, and it shows you the mindset behind successful selling.
Two other powerful books that influenced me are, “Tapping into Wealth,” by Margeret Lynch and “Profit First,” by Mike Michalowicz. What “Tapping into Wealth” offers, is a way to reframe your mindset regarding money. Each chapter tackles a different mental obstacle to making more money. Mike Michalowicz’s book shows you a system whereby you can think primarily about your profit so that you can actually make money each month, rather than simply break even.
As I mentioned, these four important books for entrepreneurs had a massive impact on me. I hope you can get as much out of them as I did!
