gateau au laban or yogurt cake it so easy to bake but the taste was so good...you can add some almond powder if you want ..but me I do it simply specially if I have left over yogurt or laban that I don't know what to do...
to use as measurement you can use a glass or a cup or mugs like I use it contains the same amount of eggs
INGREDIENTS:
5 EGGS
1 GLASS LABAN OR YOGURT
1 GLASS VEGETABLES OIL
2 GLASS FLOUR
2 GLASS SUGAR
1 TEASPOON SALT
2 TABLE SPOON BAKING POWDER
1 TABLESPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
1 LEMON ZEST
1 TABLE SPOON LEMON JUICE
PRE HEAT THE OVEN FOR 150° WHILE PREPARING.
IN A MIXING BOWL PUT THE EGGS WITH SUGAR SALT AND LEMON ZEST.. USING ELECTRIC HAND MIXER BEAT IT OR MIX IT UNTIL CREAMY OR THE COLOR OF THE EGG YOLKS BECAME PALE..IF IT IS WELL MIX ADD VEGETABLES OIL AND YOGURT OR LABAN MIX AGAIN UNTIL WELL COMBINED.NOW ADD THE FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER AND 1TABLBE SPOON OF LEMON JUICE MIX AGAIN UNTIL ALL INGREDIENTS ARE WELL COMBINED..NOW PLACE IT IN BAKING PAN AND BAKE FOR 55 TO 6O MINUTES...AFTER 60 MINUTES YOUR CAKE IS DONE REMOVE FROM YHE THE OVEN AND Let IT COOL BEFORE SERVING...
