I Have a XH! Why Get a H? Both at 7'6"! It's Because i Use Makaira Spinning Reels!
XH or H in a PCH 1pc rod? I started with a 7'6" XH for my Makaira 10000 spinner. But i found the rod's XH rating a bit too stiff even for one of the World's Strongest Spinning Reels!
So i ordered a 7'6" H rod which just arrived. The feel is PERFECT. But i still have a PCH 7'6" XH rod with no reel. So i decided to also order a Makaira 20000 for that rod.
The PCH Rods are extremely powerful rods. Some Southern California Tuna Charter Boats use PCH Rods as rail rods. It just makes sense to pair my most powerful rods with the most powerful reels out there. What a combination!
