The Jeep Compass budget SUV rental car was not the fastest.

It tried really hard and made lots of "trying to accelerate" noises, but was ultimately overcome by its 3300+ lbs of trail-rated weight.

The road is not the natural home for this leviathan, though I imagine it's good at muddy puddles and slightly bumpy gravel roads.

The car is cheap enough, uneconomical enough, and I couldn't find the 180 supposed horses under the bonnet.
