The 2020 Impact in Research Award was presented to the Odette Cancer Centre, part of the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Led by Dr. Edward Chow, the Odette Cancer Centre is a highly specialized comprehensive cancer program committed to optimal, evidence-based and tailored cancer treatment plans. The Odette Cancer Centre provides opportunities for students to lead and support cancer research and clinical trials, working directly with cancer patients to improve their quality of life. They also empower students to achieve excellence in the medical field, supporting them to publish their research findings in academic journals and present at international conferences.
