During this 1-hour event, hosted on 13 November 2020, WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, was joined by representatives of governments, nongovernmental organizations and people living with diabetes, to discuss the future of diabetes prevention and care. During the event, the WHO Global Diabetes Compact, to be launched in April 2021, was announced.
