Technology is growing at an exponential rate. Not only are we using technology externally, but technology is increasingly being integrated in the human body. With emerging technologies like Neuralink and gene editing coming to the forefront, how far should we go with human augmentation?
Although these technologies are being used to solve complex diseases once thought of as incurable, concerns about the privacy of brain data, the development of “superhumans”, and discriminatory practices based on augmentation status are increasingly coming to the forefront. Is there a point where humanity as we know it will no longer be recognizable? What are your thoughts?
