Fishing Gear Setup | Tips
Our rod setup is designed to help you catch the biggest and toughest fish out there. We use a 7' 6" medium-action Reaper rod that provides the perfect combination of sensitivity and strength, making it easy to feel even the slightest bite while still being able to handle the most aggressive strikes.
To complete the setup, we use a 3' 20lb test fluorocarbon leader that offers excellent abrasion resistance and invisibility in the water, making it more difficult for fish to detect the line. And, to make sure your bait stays securely on the line, we use a black nickel shank hook, which is strong enough to handle even the most challenging fish.
When it comes to bait, we use live shrimp, which is irresistible to many types of fish, including redfish, trout, and flounder. To attract fish to our bait, we also use popping corks, which make a popping sound in the water, mimicking the sound of feeding fish and attracting predators to the line.
Our rod setup is carefully designed to help us catch the biggest and toughest fish out there, while also ensuring that your bait stays securely on the line and attracts fish to your line. So, whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, our setup is sure to help you make the most of your fishing experience.
