How to Install Google Tag Manager in WordPress
Step 1: Create a GTM Account

Sign in to GTM.
Create an account and a container for your website.
Step 2: Add GTM to Your WordPress Site

Method 1: Using a Plugin

Install and activate "Insert Headers and Footers" or "Google Tag Manager for WordPress.
Add the GTM code:
For Insert Headers and Footers: Paste the script code in Scripts in Header and NoScript code in Scripts in Body.
For GTM for WordPress: Enter your GTM Container ID.
Method 2: Manually Adding the Code

Edit header.php: Paste the script code after the opening head tag.
Edit footer.php: Paste the NoScript code after the opening body tag.
Step 3: Verify the Installation

Preview the GTM workspace.
Check your website for the GTM debug console.
Publish the container in GTM.
Optional: Verify with Google Tag Assistant

Install the Google T, ag Assistant Chrome extension.
Record a session on your website to verify tags.
