The Bamboo garden is a new year gift to the citizens. The bamboo garden developed on 49 acres of area added glory to historic Amravati city. There is a need to take efforts for making bamboo a supplementary business for agriculture along with its conservation and nurturing. Necessary steps for nature conservation have been taken with tree plantation programme by State Government in last two years said Pravin Pote, Guardian Minister. He was inaugurating the first bamboo garden in Maharashtra at Central Nursery in Wadali here on Sunday. The first ever bamboo garden has been opened for the people.
