Lincoln has unveiled a new 2022 lineup for its signature SUV which includes a reworked grille and new exterior lighting elements.

The car was completely redesigned in the upcoming model year for a more streamlined and modern style.

Eschewing recent design trends, the Navigator's nose is considerably larger for 2022 thanks to a completely revamped front clip that houses a larger version of Lincoln's signature grille, dipping low into a new fascia.

The deep red strip now spans the gate with shiny chrome embellishment below it.

The center touchscreen is of course bigger, now measuring 13.2 inches above the slightly larger AC vent.

The infotainment system's graphics are futuristic and easy to read.

A 14-speaker Revel stereo system is standard but a 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D stereo is available as an option with the Luxury package.

There's a new 5.8-inch digital screen in between the second-row seats for passengers to control their own audio, climate, and seat settings.

The new design lets passengers quickly change settings and eliminate distractions for drivers.

Drivers can now enjoy the same hands-free experience that some cars have with Lincoln's new Ford BlueCruise system, called ActiveGlide.

Offering peace of mind as standard equipment, the 2022 Navigator will also gain Intersection Assist and Active Park Assist 2.0 as standard equipment across the range.

The Navigator's deluxe cabin is lined with fine materials, and some of the best in technological luxuries, and, of course, its cozy mattress and comfy bedding.

Under the hood is a 440-hp twin-turbocharged V-6 which allows the Navigator to tow as much as 8700 pounds. This is an excellent feature for those who are on a budget.

It's hard to get excited when steering feel is numb and the sheer bulk of the vehicle prevents it from being a vehicle that encourages enthusiastic driving.

Unlike its V-8 competition, the Navigator employs a downsized, twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission in the quest for better fuel economy.

The Navigator offers optional 30-way-adjustable massaging front seats, an innovative and premium feature for Lincoln's flagship SUV.

The innovative Lincoln Navigator also makes its exclusive Co-Pilot360 suite of driver-assistance technology standard on the Navigator and that includes blind-spot monitoring, automated emergency braking, and pedestrian detection among other items.
