Life of Pi is a novel about a boy named Pi who survives a shipwreck and is left stranded on a lifeboat in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. The story follows Pi's journey as he learns to survive in a harsh environment while trying to domesticate the tiger. Pi's religious beliefs and upbringing also play a significant role in the story, as he tries to reconcile his faith with his situation.
