Here are all the details -

✨Reaching Pangong from Leh takes around 5.5 hours if you start early.

✨You can rent a bike (1000/day) or a taxi to visit Pangong (10000/trip) or take your own car. The route is extremely bad, so I would recommend taking a car to Pangong lake.

✨You must visit the villages ahead of the main Pangong stretch - Merak Village, Mann Village, there are very few home-stays there but it’s mind blowing and no crowd

✨Make sure to go to Pangong after you’ve acclimatized in Leh for at least 3 days,as many face major AMS after reaching

✨Stay the night at Pangong Tso to witness the beautiful night sky. You can see the Milky Way and lots of shooting stars

✨You can book a camp at Pangong Tso online (booking.com or make my trip) or once you reach there

✨Get the permit to visit online

✨Please don’t litter around the lake, if you find trash don’t complain - pick it up and dispose of it!
