“On Reflection” immerses viewers in a tranquil underwater world. A male figure, crouched with a contemplative expression, is gracefully distorted by the water’s refraction. Rich blues and greens evoke serenity, while light and shadow play across his muscular form. The tiled pool edge contrasts with the organic water patterns, exploring introspection and tranquility.

Jester’s pool series explores gay life online and in apps – how individuals present themselves and treat one another. The pool represents an isolated yet connected environment, highlighting distorted views of others inside and out.
