ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Law enforcement is in Patricia Smith Wood's DNA. Her father served as a police officer and completed a distinguished career with the FBI as deputy assistant director for domestic intelligence. Even she became an FBI employee for a brief period, but now she devotes most of her time to writing mysteries.


Angie Hickman has been in love with words for as long as she can remember. She received a BA in secondary English education from Indiana University while also performing in theater. She expanded her passion for words through her work in libraries and bookstores, as a high school English teacher, and now, as a narrator.
