While people tend to recall dreams that disturb or dazzle them, studies using dream journals shown that people mostly dream about activities or interactions they encounter while awake. And a study previously published in the journal Sleep found that during dozy periods when people are falling asleep or waking up, the brain often replays images related to new experiences. When a person's conscious mind pounches out a period of sleep, other "unconscious" work seems to take place.

Simple meditation for beginners

4.) Focus our attention on the breath and on how the body moves with each inhalation and exhalation.

The 4-7-8 Breathing Exercise
To use the 4-7-8 technique, focus on the following breathing pattern:
❤ empty the lungs of air.
❤ breathe in quietly through the nose for 4 seconds.
❤ hold the breath for a count of 7 seconds.
❤ exhale forcefully through the mouth, pursing the lips and making a “whoosh” sound, for 8 seconds.
Repeat the cycle up to 4 times.
