In today's video we'll be checking out the lowest recoil AKM build in EFT, which revolves around the Zhukov stock that fits on fixed stock AK's like the AKM and AKMN.

We'll also look into the best build with a suppressor instead, and discuss some alternative mods as well as check out the differences in ergonomics and ADS time to see how they stack up against the all-in recoil reduction version.

**EDIT: A viewer commented that the timing seemed too short and this is the case - the figures are supposed to be in frames, not milliseconds! (I record in 60fps)
Updated figures as follows:
ERGO AKM - 25 Frames - 417ms
META AKM - 34 Frames - 567ms (9 frames slower, or 150ms)
STOCK AKM - 38 Frames - 633ms (14 frames slower, or 216ms)

The AKM is a decent all-rounder weapon in Tarkov and a "Meta" version of this gun will only set you back around 170k roubles when modding it out excluding scopes, which is fairly reasonable for a top level build.

Given the AKM platform's low firerate of only 600 RPM, this has the positive of making the weapon more stable than you might expect by looking at the recoil numbers alone, and has less perceived recoil than an equivalent M4 with the same number.
