Today Global Kannadiga is collaborating with the top Kannada travel vloggers, Dr. Bro and Flying Passport in exploring the treasures of Honnavara. We started our day with "The Chaturmukha temple" which was built in 1562 CE during the reign of Rani Chennabhairadevi, also known as the "Pepper Queen." In 1865, parts of the temple were taken for use in another construction. We also ventured into the lush greenery of the Lost City of Honnavara, where we discovered ancient wells and a hanging bridge. The lost city is now a forest, and the peaceful ambiance of the place is truly breathtaking.

After exploring the lost city, we went to enjoy the peace of backwater in Honnavara, also the strange thing is all the homes had one boat to travel from one end to another. We also were invited to a local home for lunch. The 100-year-old home was a true glimpse into the traditional way of life and we had a delicious meal and some fun with the friendly hosts. For the sunset, we went boating and enjoyed the beautiful views while having a great time.
