Everything the Snowpiercer series changed from the movie

A particular Hollywood producer didn’t see the value in Snowpiercer and punished Bong Joon-Ho by re-editing the film and pushing it to no man’s land. It turns out you can’t slow down brilliance.
In the years following Snowpiercer’s release, the movie achieved cult status through Netflix and internet stirrings. Would you look at that? There’s now a television show on TNT that brings even more lore to the story. All of this stems from a 1982 graphic novel that not even many fans of Snowpiercer have read. This franchise defies the odds.
Here’s the best part, TNT’s Snowpiercer is actually good, too. Of course, it’s not the greatest thing since sliced bread. Still, the story offers a lot to the wider-universe of a single train. The show is also different from the movie, which brings us to the point of this video.
I love both these versions, and the best way to gush over them is to compare and contrast. So, sit back and relax. It’s gonna be a lot of praise for these two excellent examples of creative filmmaking and studio work.
We’ll talk about the two trains, the setting, the political climate, what’s happening with the revolution, and even touch on the Wilford wrinkle. There’s even a discussion on the two main characters and the way they tell the story.
Everything you could want in a Snowpiercer video is in this one, I think. It’s up for you to decide, so check it out and leave your feedback in the comments!
