Changing the sizes of limestone chips effects the time taken to produce 50cm3 of carbon dioxide gas. In this reaction I will add hydrochloric acid to large, medium, and small limestone pieces. I will collect the carbon dioxide produced in an upside down measuring cylinder. Limestone chips are made from calcium carbonate.
