Student Lois Sofia was arrested and remanded to 15 days of jail after she raised her fist and shouted the slogan "Down with the fascist BJP government" in the Tuticorin airport at Tamil Nadu President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Tamilisai Soundararajan.
