The 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU brakes are undersized, and this becomes very apparent when going to larger tires, off-roading, overlanding, towing, etc.
A few options exist, but my preference is OEM parts for the simple reason that sourcing replacement parts is a breeze. Here's a recap of the installation of the Mopar JL HD Brakes / big brake kit part number 77072434 on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This kit is discontinued, so source all parts for your choice of year JL Rubicon and go!
I highly recommend installing the Mopar J8 Master Cylinder and Brake Booster part number P5160050 at the same time. Mine was on back order when filming and was installed when it arrived.
