Fuchsias are lovely plants and easy to propagate. However, the drawback is that you have to take a fair number of cuttings to get the odd few to take. This brings the problem of running out of nursery pots for the volume of cuttings that need to be potted up. The answer to the problem lies back in the 1940s during WW2 when everything was scarce in the UK, and what gardeners did back then to save precious resources.
Propagate fuchsias for free using tin cans, the same as your granny did during the blitz. Fuchsias are easy to propagate and empty tin cans that are plentiful in every household.
