This is how to get to the Montjuic Castle in Barcelona on foot, an alternative guide for hikers. We were hiking following a route starting from Parallel Street close to the Parallel Metro Station on May 30, 2020, 8:30 in the evening. You’ll see the El Molino building at Carrer del Roser, and just follow that street going up, until you reach the endmost, there’s a road, turn to your right, cross and take the small path heading to Camp Municipal de la Satalia. Continue walking passing by the Football field, and a park until you reach the Funicular de Montjuic which is I believe close this time. Then we opted to visit a garden and a picnic area, before climbing to a higher part of the mountain. You’ll cross a road again, there will be more steps ahead but you are closer to the castle. The tower will soon be visible and you’ll know that you’re a few steps away. For now enjoy the entrance of the castle, for the next video we’ll be walking and jogging around it.
