Please check out one of my newer videos for another way to perform the belt squat with limited equipment. My updated set up with plyo boxes is preferred.
When setting up your own DIY belt Squat, similar to the one I show in the video, the larger the base of support (footprint) the better. Simply adding an extra cinderblock beside the two I am standing on will help prevent the cinder block from potentially rolling. I do not recommend stacking cinder blocks on top of one another. Two of the same sized plyo boxes would also be ideal.
Definitely be careful with this exercise and replicate at YOUR OWN RISK.
