I found a vintage Jacobean side table abandoned in an alley and decided to give it a second chance. This was my first time refurbishing furniture, and here's how it went:
🧽 Step 1: Cleaned it thoroughly with TSP.
🛠️ Step 2: Tried to tackle those stubborn watermarks with steel wool (spoiler: it didn’t work).
🪵 Step 3: Sanded it down—and voilà, progress!
🎨 Step 4: Matched the stain to the legs to keep its vintage charm intact.
✨ Step 5: Finished it off with a clear coat for that polished look.
After a little elbow grease and a lot of learning, I listed it on Facebook Marketplace and sold it for $250! Not bad for my first try, right?
