YouTuber Sohail Pasha Arrested for Alleged Death Threats to Salman Khan

In an Unthinkable development, Mumbai Police arrested YouTuber Sohail Pasha, a Karnataka native, for allegedly threatening Bollywood star Salman Khan. Authorities claim that Pasha sent a chilling message on November 7, demanding Rs 5 crore and warning of serious consequences. The message was reportedly received by the Mumbai Traffic Control Department, with Pasha even implicating himself by referencing his connection to the song Main Sikandar Hoon, which he wrote for Khan. The message ominously stated, “Whoever wrote Main Sikandar Hoon, we will end him,” and went on to caution that anyone backing Salman would not be spared. For Salman’s safety, it warned, he would need to comply with the Rs 5 crore demand.

To add to the intrigue, Pasha signed the message as “Lawrence Bishnoi,” invoking the name of a notorious gang leader who has previously threatened Khan. Police have charged the 24-year-old singer-songwriter under various sections of the BNS Act. During the investigation, officers found that the message was sent from a phone number registered to a man named Venkatesh Narayan. When police traced Venkatesh in Karnataka, they discovered he only had a basic phone, without WhatsApp installed.

However, as they probed further, it was revealed that an OTP for WhatsApp registration was received on Venkatesh’s phone. According to Venkatesh, an unknown individual had borrowed his phone in the market under the pretense of needing to make a call, using that opportunity to install WhatsApp.
