I downgraded my firmware on my Fujifilm X-T5 to v1.01 and then up to v2.10 using a method that was a bit risky. I found this Reddit thread discussing some users' frustration with the autofocus on their Fujifilm cameras. This is not without RISKS! Consider waiting for an official update from Fujifilm. If you decide to do the downgrade, I recommend you rename the file you copy to the SD card to FWUP0030.DAT from the longer descriptive name on the shared folder (FWUP0030 V1.01 as V3.02.DAT) provided in the Reddit post. It only worked when I did that. You will LOSE ALL YOUR SETTINGS. Once you are on V1.01 set up your camera again and then back up those settings via the Fuji X app. This way you will have those settings to restore if you ever have to downgrade again.

UPDATE: The 1.01 version did not connect to the X app for me. Once I upgraded the firmware to 2.10, I was able to connect and restore the 2.10 settings that I backed up yesterday on the camera. So given that, I would recommend once you are at 2.10 and have your camera configured, backup your settings. If you ever downgrade again you can restore settings once you are on 2.10.
