On December 1-3, 2021, PAX brought together PoC partners to discuss three key themes: international support to local security actors, accountability for military missions, and PoC champions in the future of warfare.
On day 3 (theme: The role for PoC champions in the future of warfare), Marriët Schuurman (Director of the Department for Stabilisation and Humanitarian Aid at Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Olivier Guiryanan (Executive Director at Bureau de Conseils, de Formations, de Recherches et d’Etude (BUCOFORE)), Ghassan Jawad Kadhim (Political Advisor and Analyst of Politics in the Middle East) and Lars Walrave (Director of International Affairs at Netherlands Ministry of Defence) engaged in an interactive discussion connecting realities to champion Protection of Civilians.
