I test drove both camper vans at RV dealership lots: the Sequence (2020) and the Travato (2019). After researching different types of Class B RVs - and learning the differences between the Thor Sequence versus the Winnebago Travato - I decided to buy a 2021 Thor Sequence 20K.

Test driving both camper vans didn’t help me decide which one to buy; they’re both built on the Dodge Ram ProMaster chassis and drive the same. It also didn’t help to read the lists of cold, hard specs and model dimensions for the Winnebago Travato 50K and the Thor Sequence Class B motor coach.

How did I decide which camper van to buy? I looked at each of them in person, more than once and in different types of weather conditions. It can be confusing and even stressful to decide which camper van is right for you – especially if you can’t actually enter or test drive the RV. The 2021 Thor Sequence is your best buy. If you don’t need a wet bath (no extra sink, toilet or shower), the Pleasure Way Tofino is even better! But how do you decide – especially if you’ve never owned a Class B RV or conversion camper van?
