In December 2021 Trowbridge, Keynsham, Oldfield Park and Bradford Upon Avon had through Rail services to London withdrawn by order of British Railways. More importantly these stations as well as Bristol lost through services to Basingstoke, Woking and Andover. This effectively removed competition from these areas leaving all four stations with a GWR service only.
