Plant Growth Regulators (PGR) are a great product, especially for those of you with shorter cut turf; however, they are expensive to purchase. I stumbled upon this product, Pramaxis MEC, for a small bottle for $34. PGRs are typically a product geared towards professionals in large scale applications. As such, they are sold in large bottles or small packets that are intended to cover large areas and thus are expensive to purchase. This product is almost identical to the likely more commonly known T-Nex. The only difference is this product is 11.3% Trinexapac-Ethel vs T-Nex which is 12%. I don't imagine that 0.7% makes much of a difference.

So, if this was something you were looking to get into but just couldn't figure out how to justify $163 to get started, I would highly suggest you check this product out.

In terms of how to use it, there are a lot of videos out there on the internet made by my peers in the lawn care community that I suggest you go check out before purchasing and definitely before using. Read your labels, and you'll be just fine.
