Lisa Gade reviews the HP ZBook Studio X360 G5, HP’s 15.6” mobile workstation with 360 degree hinges, 6 core CPUs, NVIDIA Quadro P1000 graphics and a Wacom AES pen. This is essentially the convertible version of the ZBook Studio laptop with a design that’s reminiscent of a less blingy 15” HP Spectre x360 Gem Cut. It‘s available with a variety of Intel 45 watt CPUs, including the 6 core i7 and Xeon E-2186M. The laptop has 2 NVMe M.2 SSD slots, up to 64GB RAM, optional 4G LTE and your choice of a variety of full HD and 4K UHD displays including the wide gamut DreamColor 4K display option. As ever, this review includes a teardown and how to upgrade the internals.
