Official Welcoming Ceremony for Cuban President Miguel Mario Díaz Canel Bermúdez

I believe that the historic visit of Cuban President, Mr. Miguel Diaz-Canel to our country will mark a new milestone in Turkey-Cuban relations.
I am particularly interested in increasing cooperation and solidarity with Cuba, one of our main partners in the region. 🇹🇷🇨🇺
We were pleased to see that we have a strong and mutual will to strengthen our cooperation in our meetings. I and my dear friend confirmed our commitment to increasing our business volume to 200 million dollars. We evaluated the possibilities for improving existing cooperation in areas such as energy, tourism, construction, agriculture, development, health, and environment.
We will continue the technical support provided by TIKA to agricultural development projects in Cuba at a time when food security is on the global agenda. As two countries with strong health infrastructures, we will also advance our cooperation in this field.
We are very pleased to have implemented a joint project with Cuba in Equator Guinea in this context.
I hope that the decisions we make today and the agreements signed will lead to good.
