From Benson Amps, it's a Delay. It's a PT2399 delay, specifically—and if you know anything about that, then it might surprise you.
If you're not in the know, PT2399 chips were developed to add echo effects in karaoke machines, and they've come to be fairly popular in delay pedals. They don't have the best fidelity, though, so they're often positioned as "lofi" delays to embrace the noisy, degraded character. And there's certainly a present grit in the Benson, but with some clever circuit design, it has a remarkably convincing "analog" sound. And if I'm being real, if I heard it blind and was told it was analog, I highly doubt I'd question it.
**Big thanks to Benson Amps for sending this one over**
