AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has expressed happiness over Union Cabinet approval for AP special package. Speaking to the media, Chandrababu said that he never compromised on the interests of the state. The Central government will provide entire funds for Polavaram Project through NABARD. The Centre will also extend financial support to various projects through foreign aid. All the funding will be borne by the Centre. Officials concerned stated that works of Polavaram Project can be speeded up with the Centre giving legal sanctity to the special package.
