On a rainy day starting out in the dark, we took the low route around the mountain from Irun to Pasajes du San Juan. The low route did not disappoint. The sounds and smells of the rainy forest was intoxicating and grounding. Made it to this sweet albergue and lovely old town by the river. It’s really incredible what can unfold in a day meeting beautiful new people reminding me why I’m here doing this. I wouldn’t change a thing about this day!
