LED Chaser / LED Flasher circuit
In this project it is used IC 555 timer to create a running LEDs effect using 10 LEDs of any colour. Each LED is connected with its own 1K current limiting resistor.
The number of LEDs can also be increased by connecting more LEDs in circuit in the same manner. The 50K variable resistor is used to adjust the speed of flashing/running LEDs. The operating voltage of the circuit is 4.5V to 9V DC. If you are operating the circuit with 4.5V to 6V then replace the 1K current limiting resistors of all LEDs with 470 ohms resistors.
